Installation: videogame presented in Virtual Reality, motor, arduino, screen, silicone

Based on the videogame genre Sandbox, this is an open-ended interface offering the player multiple choices, open environments and a non-linear gameplay. The player doesn’t have a concrete goal, thus is encouraged to experiment with what may be unfamiliar mechanics, and reflect upon the messages that pop up on the way. The narrative of the game was developed based on the process a person has to go through to acquire a personalized sex robot, touching notions such as consent, body awareness and gender-play.

The piece was presented next to a silicone air robot placed in front of a screen showing a pre-recorded video of the robot. The screen gave the illusion that it was reflecting the robot, creating the impression that it was responding to its own movements.
